"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

New look AGAIN

Yes I just haven't found the right look yet for my blog.

What do you think about this one?

I had a fairly good day. I have decided I am going to have to let Cyann cry it out at nap time and bed time. :( it is no fun listening to her cry. She cries longer than the other two girls ever did. But then again maybe it just seems that way now with her crying. I don't like this stage. I love bed time putting them in bed for the night singing, reading, and holding but the crying not so much.

Noelle looks different to me today. Her face looks fuller than usual. My baby is growing up. My feelings are mixed sad but happy excited.

Date night

So Jon and I went out Friday night!!!

It was great

We got a baby sitter she is amazing! I think I found the one for us.

We left all the girls with her and we went to a concert. It was a client of Jon's Phil Parrish. check it out http://www.philparrish.com/.

It was fun.

Noelle's first year

I wanted to do this for Noelle's birthday but did not get to because I was a little busy.
Noelle was diagnosed with Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome in June of 08. It was a rough first year but we made it through with flying colors. First year we had a lot of doctor visits and one surgery.
At one year Noelle weighs 19lb 15oz and is 27 in. long.

Noelle born March 10th 2008. 6lb 5oz

The first thing any one says is look at all that hair, and Mommy smiles and says yes she has a lot.

This is for you Whitney

Well I have a wonderful friend that is getting ready to have her first baby and she blogged about this topic a few weeks/months ago. Check out her post.

So I thought I would show her and you what I looked like after I had my girls.

After Zoey was born. I was induced, in labor for 17 hours, and I had an epidural.
This is at 3:30AM

After Noelle was born. I was in labor 15 hours and no epidural.
It was rough but I was up on my feet less than an hour after.
I went to the hospital at 2AM so my hair was not done and no makeup.

From noelle
After Cyann was born. I was induced, 5 hours of labor, with an epidural.
I went to the hospital at 3 PM and had her at 10:30PM

I looked the best after Cyann but I dont have any pictures of right after. This is two hours after but I did not fix my hair or makeup.
There you go.

Easter Egg Dyeing

Saturday we all gathered on my moms house to dye eggs. It was fun the kids always make it interesting. We only had one major spill this year. Progress

Here are some pictures of the egg dyeing.

Zoey always looking cute

Eva put stickers all over an egg.

Aunt Lori and Aunt Ivory helping the girls.

Uncle Pete relaxing one last year before he has to help Adeline.

Zoey is so cute. She is getting big.

Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Pete practicing for when Adeline gets here.

That is all of the egg dyeing. After some yard games and small talk we sat down to a feast of handburgers. It was a great day and wonderful weather.

And I almost forgot. This is Granny taking pictures.

Sunshine Oh How I love thee

Today is so beautiful!!!!!
My computer is telling me that it is 74 degree's right now. Oh I love the warm weather.

I had a WIC appointment this afternoon. It was at 1:45 yes right during nap time. I had all the kids with me. It was not stressful! Yes you read that right. It was not bad at all.
I have to admit that I was kinda dreading it because I thought it would be crazy. But I prayed before I got out of the car that God would allow me to be patient and calm and that He help the girls obey.

Why am I surprised that God did what he said he would? He said that all we have to do is ask. He is so faithful. Even when we don't deserve it He is still faithful. Oh how I love my God. I could not live a day with out Him.

one of those days

You know the days when everyone needs you all the time and you feel that if you don't scream, run away, or cry you just might explode.

Well that has been me the last two days. I am beginning to wonder if my house will ever be clean again and the laundry lets not go there right now.

And to top it all off Noelle's insurance has been messed up for a week now and we have missed several appointments because of it. Which has not made my life easier because I have been trying to get things fixed but have not been able to talk to the one person who can fix it.

I was hoping the weather would be nice so I could go outside and do some yard work that helps me calm down and clear my head but it is still cold outside. :(

Alas if you have read this far into my rant thank you and I am sorry. I needed some where to vent and this is better than venting on my kids or husband.

On the bright side of my life it will be warm tomorrow and the sun is shining. Everyone is feeling better. I am getting more sleep kinda. And I did get to plant flowers in the front flower bed on Saturday. Yea! I have been wanting to do that for a few weeks now.

I'm back

Hello everyone!

I am so sorry it has been so long. I am going to blame it all on

Cyann Rebekah Jackson
March 2, 2009

17.25 IN

Cyann spent 10 days in the Neonatal ICU at Saint Francis Hospital. She was admitted for Respiratory distress. She received one treatment of sufactrin and one round of lasic which consisted of 3 treatments, one every 12 hours. She was taken off the CPAP on day 6 and spent the rest of her stay learning how to eat out of a bottle. (She got use to the feeding tube.) (please exuse the spelling of the drugs I spelt them how they sound)

With out the CPAP but still had the IV

I got to hold her on day 4. It took Jon telling the nurse that I was going to hold her. They told us that we could not hold her till she was off the CPAP. All in all it was one of the hardest 10 days of my life. Trying to jugle everything at home and spend time with Cyann at the hospital. God is so good to provide the strenghth that we need. I found out that I have the best husband in the world, and really great friends.

Zoey is loving her new sister and Noelle is ajusting to sharing her Mommy with her sister.
