So I have discovered that a lot of moms don't let there kids play with play dough.
I really don't understand this because it is my life saver. Zoey loves playing with it and will sit for 45 min. to an hour making snakes and balls and cutting out shapes with the cookie cutters.
I think it inspires creativity and helps develope hand eye cordination. I have also found that a lot of moms also dont do finger paint.
I have to ask WHY???!!!! Yes it makes a mess but OH the fun. Dont be scared of a little mess it is all water soluble it washes. Just do it.
Helping in the kitchen. This is one that I do understand but I let Zoey help me and we make the bigest messes it is fun. I let her have a bowl with flour or corn meal and a spoon and we mix and stir and fling flour all over the kitchen. This does not really bother me because I tend to make a mess my self so what can I say.
My life saver is my hand held Dyson vaccum. It is wonderful!!! Jon got it for me Christmas 07 and I have used it every day since.

- I am the Mommy to 4 year old Zoey, 2 year old Noelle, 1 year old Cyann, and Tenley June 2010. I spend my days juggling feedings, therapy sessions, and doctor visits along with all the normal mommy things that need to be done. Noelle was born with (Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome) RTS she was diagnosed at three months old, since then I have been learning about all the medical/therapy things that comes with having a child with special needs. I never thought that I could raise or care for a child with special needs but God shows me every day that I cant but He can. I could not be the mother of Noelle with out God working through me everyday. I could not imagine our family with out Noelle, She makes me smile and laugh every single day.

That's me! I am trying to loosen up, but it is hard when they leave mess after mess after mess. I had an epiphany last night- my kids are only little for a short time and they ADORE me. I really need to spend more time playing with them. Thanks for the reminder!
