"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

The story of our house, yes it has a story.

Once upon a time there was a couple that desperately wanted a house but they had no money. You see the man had just started his on business and the woman did not work other than the full time job of helping her husband with the new business. So they looked and looked for a house that was less than $60,ooo. Yes you may say that is not very much but it was all they could afford. So they looked. They found one and made an offer but someone else made a better one. So they looked and found one made an offer but yet again someone else made a better offer. So they looked and looked and looked. After about one and a half years of looking and making offers but not getting anything they were feeling a little bit discouraged. So the man found yet another house to go look at. The ad said looks bad smells worse, man did not tell the wife this until after he took her to see it.

The moment the man saw the house he said in a half joking half serious tone "This is it, the one for us"
And the wife said "I am not going in that house, No sir! That is not the house for ME"

Well this did not detour the man. He went and looked any way. The man came back to the car, where the wife had stayed, and declared "you have to come in and see it, it is perfect". The wife still not wanting to step foot in the house submitted to her husband just to appease him. This was not the house for her.

Well the man sang the praises of the house, how perfect it was. But the wife could not get past the dirt, the holes, the dirt, the smell, the dirt, the SMELL...... So the man took the wife to Lowes so she could look at the possibilities. So the house began to grow on her. But it would still be a lot of work.

Well the wife finally agreed to at least make an offer, a very low offer. So they counter the offer and we countered their offer and they accepted it. The offer was $58,000 plus they pay closing costs. Wait a minute that was not suppose to happen. But it did.

They closed on the house June 18th of 2007.

And the work began. and is still going on.
