Play Dough

So I have discovered that a lot of moms don't let there kids play with play dough.

I really don't understand this because it is my life saver. Zoey loves playing with it and will sit for 45 min. to an hour making snakes and balls and cutting out shapes with the cookie cutters.

I think it inspires creativity and helps develope hand eye cordination. I have also found that a lot of moms also dont do finger paint.

I have to ask WHY???!!!! Yes it makes a mess but OH the fun. Dont be scared of a little mess it is all water soluble it washes. Just do it.

Helping in the kitchen. This is one that I do understand but I let Zoey help me and we make the bigest messes it is fun. I let her have a bowl with flour or corn meal and a spoon and we mix and stir and fling flour all over the kitchen. This does not really bother me because I tend to make a mess my self so what can I say.

My life saver is my hand held Dyson vaccum. It is wonderful!!! Jon got it for me Christmas 07 and I have used it every day since.

Time to stop

Some how some way life seems to get going so fast that is knocks you over.

Thats how I felt this last week. Life knocked me over and showed me how busy we had become.

Its time to slow down and enjoy the little things in life.

You know those wonderful things like a hot cup of tea curl up on the sofa with hubby.
Sit for an hour and read stories to my captive audience.
Enjoy making something savory for supper instead of something fast and easy.
Laugh when something funny happens.
Cry when someone needs just a little sympathy to make it all better.
Hold one or both girls just because.
Play tea party for as long as Zoey wants to and forget about all the other thing I need to do.
Point out Gods creation and praise Him for all He has made.
Take time to pray for our friends throughout the day.
Praise God for His wonderful blessings
